That’s how South Guys was born. Our aim is to provide a direct bridge between the premium traditional producers of Southern Italy and everyone in the UK chasing after the best flavour and ingredients Italy can provide. Through subscription boxes and an online shopping platform, we offer a wide range of Italian delicacies at fair prices.”

“The importance of networking with the right people at the right time.“
What has been the most supportive part of the BSEEN programme?
“The invaluable constant contact with our BSEEN mentors. We would have never been able to start-up without their valuable and always informative help on every sort of topic.”
Any advice for entrepreneurial students or graduates thinking about starting their own business?
“Businesses are made by people. Be involved, talk to people, discuss ideas and be good listener. You will be amazed by the tremendous opportunities that will arise from coffees and informal chats.
Work hard to always be ready when the chances come and do not be afraid to go for them, as “The best way to predict the future, is to create it” (Peter Drucker).”
What are your next steps for your business?
“Within the next 12 months we will undertake all the steps necessary to make a real difference in the UK food and wine market. We will apply for alcoholic licences, optimise our operations and massively focus on the marketing side, to make South Guys known as much as possible across the UK.”
