Mudd Beauty launched its first product, a matte lipstick at a stylish event at the Cube, Birmingham city centre last month. The event was well attended by local fashionistas and makeup artists.
The company founded by Alixzondra Samuda, supported by the BSEEN (Birmingham Skills for Enterprise and Employability Network) programme is a makeup brand designed to enhance beauty whilst aligning with health values.
Alixzondra said: “Mudd works closely with cosmetic labs that specialise in natural and organic ingredients to leave the skin feeling rejuvenated whilst still providing quality makeup that performs like favourite conventional brands”.
Matte liquid lipstick rarely stand out as unique, but if you’re looking for one that does, Mudd Beauty’s Matte Lip Mud’s are formulated from natural and organic ingredients, so they not only look good but they do good too! They are also vegan and cruelty free.
The formula intensively pigmented formula glides on wet and with ease, and although dries matte, it still leaves the lips hydrated because of ingredients such as almond oil, vitamin E and olive oil.
The formula goes further by having a beautiful lightweight texture and leaves the lips looking smooth and that’s not it, it can last up to eight hours.
Available in 16 different shades – Poppy Love, Cinnamon Dust, Plum Secrets, Insane Clementine, Coral Reef, Naked, Natural Berries, Cocoa Butter, Mudd, Crushed Plums, Moon Flower, Lotus, Black Orchid, Purple Herbs, Cocoa Beans and Pumpkin Soup each named after a natural element.
