GRADQUIZ awards £1000 to Aston University student

The founders of GradQuiz visited Aston University on 11th October to award £1,000 to one lucky Aston student, as a contribution to their university tuition fees.

GradQuiz, a company founded by three Aston graduates Finian O’Kane, Alex Johnson, Ari Ratnakumar, as well as Omar Habbal (Kings College London & Harvard Graduate), visited Aston as part of its tour of UK universities.

To help students with higher tuition fees introduced in 2012, the founders have organised to give away £1,000 to a number of students across the UK.

The lucky winner, Catherine Ellerby, was selected through an interactive Quiz challenge, after she came out on top of hundreds of candidates. She was awarded the cheque which was sponsored by Jaguar Land Rover, at a ceremony in the University Main Building.

Present at the award ceremony, showing their support were Elaine Clarke (Undergraduate Director, Aston Business School), Carolyn Keenan (Project Manager, BSEEN) and Paul Hebron (Communications & Engagement Manger, Aston Business School).
