Kate Angel is Head of Operations at Aston Centre for Growth, ensuring the smooth and successful delivery of the Aston Programme for Small Business Growth and managing all aspects of the project finances, engagement, and compliance. Kate has worked in the Centre for over five years and supports across a number of other programmes and events that the Centre for Growth delivers including Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up where she has sat on the Steering group since 2015.
Previously, as a Business Enterprise Manager, Kate coordinated the set-up of the first Further Education Peter Jones Enterprise Academies across the West Midlands region and specialised in sourcing pro bono business support to add value to the curriculum and enable students to underpin their learning. As part of this role Kate was presented with the first ‘Business Enterprise Manager of the Year’ award from Peter Jones CBE. Kate is an experienced chartered marketer and has managed many successful marketing campaigns across a variety of roles within the public sector.
Victoria is an Engineer with a Masters in International Business and training in Human Behaviour and Personality. She is also trained on delivering the ITU’s (International Telecommunications Union) tools for ICT centric ecosystem building.
