Jessica is a creative who has a background in media. Having previously worked with the BBC, Southbank Centre, and Birmingham City Council. Her films have been showcased at festivals around the world including Edinburgh Fringe Festival and the British Film Institute.

Prior to joining Aston in early 2021 Jessica worked at the UK’s leading fundraising agency Drop Studio, supporting 80+ start-ups with crowdfunding campaigns.  Whilst there she learnt skills in digital marketing, content writing, video production and fundraising.

Jessica’s experience in marketing and admin led her to the BSEEN team. She is responsible for providing full project support and is the first point of contact for students and graduates who are seeking help to launch their own business. Jessica is enthusiastic about supporting personal growth with the aim to help students become more entrepreneurial.

When she’s not at BSEEN, Jessica volunteers at the Girls Friendly Society. A programme for young girls designed to help develop confidence, self-esteem, emotional wellbeing, and resilience.

In her spare time, she loves visiting museums/galleries, going to the cinema, and lifting weights.
