What made you jump at the chance of coming on BSEEN?
“BSEEN is a great opportunity for any aspiring entrepreneur with a great business concept. I appreciate how it offers support and guidance in practicing business start-up and to achieve this. The ongoing assistance is beneficial due to the networking events as its not just about what you know, the support from a mentor and of course the funding opportunity. A new business is a scary venture and having the support of BSEEN is always reassuring. ”
What has been the biggest learning curve you have had to overcome as an Entrepreneur?
“Maths has always been a weakness of mine and during part of the boot camp, it was relieving to revisit how to create financial accounts and other relevant costs that are included in running a business. Marketing was also beneficial as a small business, this is vital for business growth. Lastly is the importance of networking…I’ve met many great aspiring entrepreneurs of whom we all learn from each other. “
What has been your business stand out moment?
“My elevator pitch as many congratulated me on how good and straight to the point it was.”
Any advice for entrepreneurial students or graduates thinking about starting their own business?
“Preparation, perseverance and consistency. Prepare for the hard work, persevere through the doubts and downfalls and be consistent with yourself and your business image.”
What are your next steps for your business?
“I have plans to have a business launch, hopefully in September/October. Everybody is welcome and I hope that when it happens it is a great success and people enjoy the night and the business idea. ”
